I'm pround that our ancestors created our own uniques style of kites that look beautiful
and can make beaufifuk sounds as they fly. According to research by professor Sim Sarak,
by 197027 different types of Cambodian kites had been documented. the first step in making a kite is designing
th shape we want, ans this is totally up to the artist. on the first moon of the first lunar month,
we celebrate the annual kite flying festival. The festival promite our culture, tourism and trade.
In the past the kite were flown at night, as the sounds they were the most impotant feature.
These days they are also flown during the day so that people can see the elaborate decorations.
Ek's kite represents a mother and a leader. It follows the message of a traditional
Cambodian proverb that say "A flying kite need the wind, a great leader needs a team"
